Sharing your location lets others keep an eye on your progress to a destination or help look out for your safety. In Telegram, open a chat, tap the paper clip button, and choose Location to share it. With the ability to send files up to 2 GB (or 4 GB), users can easily share large media items from other apps directly to Telegram on any mobile platform. This saves both time and storage space β so you don't have to save the file before sending it in Telegram. Since non-secret chats and files are stored in the cloud, you can access them from any device by logging into your account. You will never have to worry about on-device storage or losing important files, but the trade-off is that you lose a bit of privacy and security.
Enable Auto-Night Mode You can take a new photo, upload an existing one, search the web for a new image, or remove your current photo. Voice messages can be converted to text for those times you don't want to listen, but want to see what it says. You can rate transcriptions to help improve them. To enable it, go to βSettingsβ, βData and Storageβ, and turn off automatic download βwhen using mobile dataβ and βwhen roamingβ. You will also see options to turn off autoplay βGIFsβ and Videosβ.
Schedule Messages If youβre in the West and you meet a new contact, the odds are theyβll prefer using WhatsApp to Telegram messenger. Popularity breeds popularity, and trying to dethrone WhatsApp is an uphill battle for Telegram. To use live locations and proximity alerts, go to the contactβs chat window and tap on the βAttachβ icon shaped like a paperclip. Choose the location button here, and choose βShare my Live Locationβ. You will be able to send live locations for either 15 minutes, 1 hour or 8 hours. Copy a Part of Text from a Message
